We Take Our Puppies Seriously
Here at Honeycutt Haus Shepherds we strive to breed to the standard set by Max von Stephanitz, the original founder of the German Shepherd Standard and Club.
The captain's motto of, "utility and intelligence" is also the motto we breed by. Our dogs are bred to not only excel in sporting events, but to have the keen intelligence that the German Shepherd was originally meant to have. This being, mental stability in high stress environments and the ability to work or play hard all day, then end the night lounging with the kids. |
Temperament MattersOur puppies are temperament tested before going home to ensure the proper fit for an individual home. This ensures that the buyer gets the puppy that is temperament-ed to the home environment specified by the buyer. In other words we want our buyers to get the lifelong companion that they are looking for not to just place a puppy in a home that is not suited for their temperament just to sell a puppy.

Responsible Breeder
Our dogs are temperament tested, trained, and cleared for hip dysplasia prior to breeding. Any dog that does not meet our high standards is not bred and is sterilized. Therefore, we are only passing exceptional temperaments and genetics on to our puppies giving our buyers a long lived and healthy companion for many years to come. We offer lifetime assistance with any puppy that comes from us and should a buyer be unable to keep their puppy at any time during the dogs life we will either assist in placement or take the dog into our home until suitable placement is found. Please see our contract for details regarding our guarantee and placement policies.

We Use the Following Brands
We believe in feeding our puppies and Dams a healthy, nutritional dry food. Our pups love Nutro Essential Limited ingredient chicken and lamb flavors. Just like our children our four legged family members need to see the Vet and keep up to date on their medications. We recommend both Sentinel & Triflexis to treat and prevent Heartworm, fleas, ringworms and whip worms. We always strongly recommend to follow the guidance of your Licensed DMV as they are the professional in the medical field of animals!
